Instructions for Creating an Account for a Child Under 15 Years Old¶
According to the privacy policy of the petlja.org portal, all persons under the age of 15 must have their account created by a parent or legal guardian. Otherwise, they will not be able to open an account themselves and will not be able to use some functionalities of the petlja.org portal (such as automatic task grading, participating in competitions on our portal, etc.)
This guide will help you open an account for a child under 15 years old for whom you are a parent or legal guardian. Before you begin, you must also have an account. If you have not created one yet, you can do so here.
Once you have created your account, you need to go to your user panel. You can do this by going to this link and selecting the option Add a new account for a child, as shown in the image below.
When you click this button, a window like the one in the image below should appear.
In the top field, enter the username you want your child to use, and below, enter the password that will be used with that username. You must read and accept the terms of use in order to create the account, which you do by checking the box I accept the terms of use for my child. After that, click the ADD ACCOUNT button and the account will be created. When this happens, you will see the new account in the list of accounts. If you want to change the username or password of the account you created, you can do so by clicking the gear icon on the right, then in the data edit window, enter the new username or password and click the EDIT button to update the account.
When you create the account, your child will be able to log in to the petlja.org portal using that account and the password you set. If you have any problems creating these accounts, contact us by email at loop@petlja.org
